Who We Are

We are a community of life-long learners and teachers excited to share the experience we've gained as college students, high school students, concertmasters, science olympians, and beyond. Founded by Claire Li and Alexander Metzger in 2022, Seattle Tutoring Partners has passionately been bringing students and teachers together ever since.

Our Mission

Here at Seattle Tutoring Partners, we don't believe in education for the masses. We believe in education for the many individuals. Because whether you're an advanced super-genious, someone who hasn't had a lot of help and feels intimidated by the mere mention of the quardratic formula, or somewhere inbetween, there is no one-size-fits-all. When it comes to learning, we all do it differently, and naturally we at STP believe in custom tailoring the teaching experience to our learners.

Our goal is to provide what large classrooms cannot: personalized one-on-one lessons with caring community tutors who meet the learners where they're at and role-model positive behaviors both academically and personally. Whether it's your education or that of a son or daughter, we aim to provide the tutor/student-pairing and individualized lesson plan that can inspire a life-long love for learning.

Creative people from all over Seattle with a passion for learning and teaching. Some have channeled their passion through Private Tutoring and teaching organizations like Kumon. Others have volunteered with local schools and programs. They have all chosen to partner with the Seattle Tutoring Partners to combine experience with resources and inspire.
